During the course of the day, it’s usual for a developer to need to log into several different cloud platforms (e.g. Azure) if they’re working for more than one client. One method to stop having to continuously log into /out of these platforms is to use Google profiles.

Setup a Google Profile

Click on the profile icon in the top right corner

Enter the name of the profile (e.g. Company A).

Add the required bookmarks for the cloud platforms that Company A uses

Repeat the process to create a second profile for Company B.

The result is that two profiles are added to the desktop

The benefit of using Google Profiles

The idea is to have a profile for each client that you’re working for. That way, you can which between profiles during the course of the day without having to continuously log in, log out of the various cloud platforms.
